Horizontal boring, drilling and milling machine controlled in five axes for multi-sided machining of parts up to a size of 79" x 63" x 60" and a maximum weight of 7 tons. AC digital drive equipment, backlash-free ball screws and compact linear roller guides are the keystones for efficient manufacture, achieving the highest machining accuracies and low-maintenance operation. This machine has an extensive coolant system with external flood and coolant thru the spindle at high & low pessure. A coolant filtration system is also included to allow high performance machining while protecting the machine and tooling. Comprehensive accessories such as various milling heads, NC facing heads and support bearings can enhance the universal application of this UNION machine well known for long-term precision accuracy.
